# Privacy Policy — Video Source Filter Buttons

**Last updated:** June 19, 2026

Video Source Filter Buttons does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data, browsing history, or search queries.

## What the extension does

The extension reads the current page URL on Google Video search results pages (`google.com/search`) to determine which platform filter (if any) is active, and injects a row of buttons that link to filtered versions of your current search. All logic runs locally in your browser.

## Data storage

The only data stored is your display style preference (pill buttons or tab style), saved locally via Chrome's `storage.sync` API. This setting is synced across your own Chrome installations through your Google account, the same way Chrome syncs bookmarks or other extension settings. Anthropic, the extension developer, and any third party never have access to this data.

## Permissions

- **`storage`** — used only to remember your display style preference.
- **`scripting`** and **host access to `google.com`** — used only to read the current search URL and inject the button bar into the page. No data is sent anywhere.

## Third parties

This extension does not use analytics, tracking pixels, or any third-party services. No data ever leaves your browser.

## Contact

Questions about this policy can be directed to the developer via the Chrome Web Store listing.
